Grades K - 2nd: 9 - 10:30am
Campers in grades K–2 meet Monday through Friday from 9–10:30am at City of Hurst Parks and Recreation, where they’ll build confidence, make new friends, and explore the magic of the stage in a fun, supportive environment. For our youngest performers, the focus is on introducing the basics of theatre—expressive movement, using our voices, following choreography, and working together as a team. Every camper is part of the ensemble, and those who are ready can try out a solo if they want to. No pressure—just encouragement and fun! The week wraps with a final performance for family and friends on Friday—a celebration where every camper gets to shine. The joy of performing for a supportive audience is a huge part of what makes this camp so special. It gives kids a sense of accomplishment, and parents get to experience that unforgettable moment of pride as their young star takes the stage!
Grades 3rd-5th: 11-12:30pm
Campers in grades 3–5 meet Monday through Friday from 11am–12:30pm at City of Hurst Parks and Recreation, where they’ll grow their performance skills in a fun, creative, and supportive environment. In this age group, we focus on ensemble-based performance, character work, choreography, and vocal expression—giving every camper the tools to shine both on their own and as part of a team. Campers also have the opportunity to try a solo if they’re ready, and will learn how to bring a scene or song to life as a full cast. The camp ends with a final performance for family and friends on Friday, where campers share everything they’ve learned in just one week. That moment of taking the stage in front of a supportive audience is one of the most memorable parts of the experience. It builds confidence, pride, and joy—for both campers and their families. There’s nothing like watching your child shine and knowing they feel celebrated.
